Now in India at around 120 million tons of ash per year is used. The power requirement of the country is increasing rapidly with the increase in growth of the industrial sectors, and our country depends on thermal power as its central source. This is one of the prime factors which shall lead to increased ash production.

Out of the total ash produced in our country, Fly Ash contributes a small percentage. Most of the ash is Pond Ash and Bottom Ash.
